Getting Started

What is BCATU?

BCATU is a student-first resource hub for Nepal starting with TU’s BCA program—organized notes, past papers, model sets, and official exam notices.

Is it free to use?

Yes. Our goal is to keep TU study materials accessible for all students across Nepal.

How do I find my semester resources?

Use the homepage semester tiles (1–8) or search by course code (e.g., CACS101).

Downloads

Are PDFs available for offline study?

Yes—look for the Download button on resource cards to get PDF versions where available.

I can’t open a file—what should I do?

Try a modern PDF reader (mobile or desktop). If the file looks corrupted, let us know via Contact.

Why do some items show “Open” instead of “Download”?

Some resources are links or previews hosted externally. We’re working to add direct downloads where allowed.

Exam Notices

Where do the exam notices come from?

From official TU channels. We summarize changes (routine, centers, results) and provide links to the source where possible.

How quickly are notices updated?

We aim to keep things fresh. Check the Notices page for the latest.

Do you cover other programs beyond BCA?

Yes—BBS, BEd, BA, BSc and more are on our roadmap.

Courses & Codes

How do I use course codes?

Search using the exact code (e.g., CACS101) to jump to relevant notes, question banks, and past papers.

I can’t find my course—what now?

Use topic tags (e.g., “K-map”, “Normalization”) or browse by semester. If it’s missing, suggest it via Contact.

Quality & Endorsement

What are “Endorsed Picks”?

Resources reviewed by moderators/teachers for accuracy and exam usefulness; look for the Endorsed badge.

Why do you merge duplicates?

To reduce clutter and keep a canonical best version of each note or paper.

Contribute Notes & Papers

We welcome high-quality contributions from students and teachers.

  • Use filenames like COURSECODE_topic_year.pdf
  • Ensure legible scans and complete solutions
  • Map to the correct semester and course
